I led the product design of Shahoosh, a mobile-first brain training game featuring over 30 mini-games and more than 5 million questions, designed for competitive online play. The core challenge was to create an engaging and socially driven experience that goes beyond solo gameplay, enabling users to compete, connect, and continuously improve their cognitive skills.
I focused on simplifying the onboarding experience and designing intuitive game flows that could accommodate a wide variety of mini-games while maintaining consistency. In parallel, I designed key engagement features such as real-time competitions, chat interactions, avatar customization, and progression systems including missions, rewards, and unlockable arenas. These elements were carefully crafted to enhance retention and foster a sense of community among players.
By aligning gameplay mechanics with user motivation and behavioral patterns, the product evolved into a dynamic platform that blends entertainment, competition, and cognitive development in a scalable and user-friendly experience.
Building on this foundation, I later designed the English version of the product, Braningym, with a stronger emphasis on educational value. The experience evolved beyond pure gameplay into a more structured cognitive development journey, aligning game mechanics with learning outcomes and user growth.
