iCrit was a social platform designed to redefine how people discover and share opinions about movies, music, games, and cultural content. Unlike traditional platforms such as Metacritic that prioritize professional critics, iCrit was built around a “people-first” philosophy—empowering everyday users to express their perspectives and shape collective taste.
As a co-founder and product lead, I was responsible for shaping the core product vision and translating it into a scalable user experience across mobile platforms. I led the design of key interaction patterns that encouraged participation, social engagement, and content discovery, ensuring that users could easily share opinions and connect through shared interests. The platform was designed to function not just as a review tool, but as a social layer on top of entertainment consumption.
A key focus of the product was fostering meaningful user-generated content while maintaining simplicity and accessibility. I worked closely on defining the product structure, onboarding flows, and engagement mechanics that would support viral growth strategies and community building, particularly among younger, culturally active audiences.
Beyond design execution, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to align product, business, and growth strategies—including monetization models such as targeted advertising, data insights, and platform integrations. iCrit was envisioned as a scalable, data-driven social product with the potential to become a new voice in the global media and entertainment ecosystem.
